Ogre Farms Pie Hoe Cold Cure Rosin Review

This time around the pie hoe from ogre is single source, & grown in living soil. It’s still w1-4 70-189u, but this time the appearance is quite a bit different- with an impeccably clean all white rosin with light amber undertones. The texture is squishy, fatty, & brainy; with a soft, slick, buddery ice cream scoop structure with an incredible wet & juicy badder tech break down that absorbs itself.

A super sweet, juicy, candy grape leads the way but with a unique jammy & savory cranberry sauce like delivery, w/ a doughy dinner roll backing. Just like the previous ogre pieho, the grape jam profile is truly special, w/ a robust concentration that stains the nostrils with welcoming additions of sweet blueberry haze, garlic chem diesel & floral undertones. A slight undertone of a ‘sulfuric star dust’ herbal spicey chem-pungency blends into the doughy creamy garlic funk.

This jar was loud, & again had a1 terps, but their more affordable Piehoe was a bit louder. The session however, was definitely upgraded In this single source living soil representation, with the oil melting & burning super clean; w/ a healthy 1:45 session at 490* that brings thick tasty clouds all the way to the cash out, which is a clean glowing golden syrup. The vapor flavor was impressively thick, w/ the sweet grape/blueberry/cranberry jam lathering the palette.

The inhale was carried by an unexpected expando lung, that was prevalent w/ lemon fuel & sour chem diesel. The exhale had a combination of the mouth terps & inhale terps but was wrapped together in a doughy creamy meaty funk that was highlighted w/ the sulfuric chemical pungency. Mostly smooth vapor from start to finish. The effects were fairly potent with low eye, headband pressure, & a calming relaxation with medium couch lock & appetite increase for 2.5hrs. Great afternoon/ early evening smoke.

Ogre’s piehoe always stands compared to all other grape pie type strains I’ve had. That’s for its epic aroma profile that boasts the 1 of a kind grape, cranberry, & blueberry saucy jammy terps with another one of kind foody thanksgiving dinner undertones wrapped in various chems, diesels, fuels, & sulfuric pungencies.

The jar was pretty loud but their more affordable pieho representation i previously reviewed a few months ago was definitely louder; and possibly harder hitting with longer effect duration- but make no mistake this single source living soil version was a major upgrade with its improvements to appeal, flavor, vapor intensity, vapor cleanliness, session performance, & its righteously clean burnage.

Once Again, I’m super happy with their pieho, if you haven’t tried it yet it’s a must for all the sweet grape lovers out there.
