Hash Review: Zkittlez Fresh Press Rosin by Ogre Farms

The 2nd compartment of the same control tower reveals an eye catching radioactive lime green circular mound of fresh press, w/ suspended bubbles glistening in its glowing, mostly clear surface. The Z started curing quickly- getting more buddery, stretchy, & goopy from its original poke & pull hard taffy texture; while loosing some of its clarity to a creamy blurriness.
Shortly after, the goopy mound fully cured; to a light yellow-green creamy patty- which gathered as a white crumble & settled into a golden wet mushy mashed potato consistency. The aroma profile* was pretty loud, & after the cure the terps exploded w/ lid busting force. Ogres Z is delivered w/ a dominance of ‘aqua lemon’ chlorine cleaner pungency, that combines w/ a sharp but chalky grapefruit citrus, a sugary (margarita rim) lime salt & a sour granny apple candy.
A general overtone of herbal meaty funk combines w/ a raw gasoline kush that permeates the room while masking the sweetNsour honey sauce & tangy orange citrus. The freezer burnt pine pungent fuel wraps the Aroma together w/ skunky creamy purple terps**. The vapor flavor was incredibly strong. The palette was PLASTERED in the lemon, lime, grapefruit, & aqua chlorine pungency that dominated the profile- punching the nose, eyes, & lungs w/ INTENSE candy citrus terps.
The exhale was thick w/ pungent pine freezer burn, grape lavender florals, sour apple dankness, lemon diesel fuel, herbal spice, & funky kush. The extremely flavorful vapor was semi-smooth w/ some mild throatiness, while simultaneously having top notch vapor intensity, that brings on an epic lung lock of chronic duration. The rosin has a clean clear golden grease fryer-like melt, burning down to a semi-dark residue. The effects are powerful, heavily euphoric, & intoxicating w/ major headband pressure & a mild couch lock that sets in later on in the 3hr buzz.

I really loved getting to enjoy Zkittlez in this excellent FreshPress representation. The rosins appeal was enticing, with an electrifying neon amber green glow that really amplifies that first impression with its exotic appeal. The terps were excellent, hitting my preferences in zkittlez with that raw, pungent, gassy candy citrus profile that leans away from the various creamy floral doughy undertones and doubles down on its dominate citrus fuel & kush terps.
The nose volume was incredible for any rosin but was especially loud for freshpress. The vapor was magnificent in terms of flavor, flavor strength, & lung expansion, but it could’ve been a touch smoother on the throat- although given a choice- I would choose to have extraordinary lung pressure with some bite rather than it being super smooth but w/ no lung expansion at all. Vapor intensity is always a key preference, & a small bite is nothing major when seeking that proper lung punch.
The session performed well, with a long lasting session with good cloud production, although it could’ve cashed out a little bit cleaner. All around this zkittlez was pretty damn awesome- another treat for the lungs. Shout out to @sddankexclusive16 for the friendly ticket, which my overall satisfaction met head on.
