π: The looks on this jar were incredible right from the jump. As yβall know, this is a thumbprint, so it has Pop Rocks (cold cure) on the outside and Zelato (sauce) in the center.
Pop Rocks had a super clean look with a light pale, almost white color, with a wet easy to scoop consistency. The Zelato sauce in the middle looked great too with a darker yellow tint and lots of terp bubbles. The consistency was like a wet sugar slush and scooped like applesauce.
The art was wild in the best way possible especially for Naruto fans. Jiraiya also known as βPervy Sageβ (shoutout to the homie for telling me) was on the top sticker, with two more characters on the back. One being Rock Lee, the other I couldnβt figure out since I donβt watch anime. 9.6/1
π: The smell on this one is super unique and hard to describe, one of those weird but enjoyable terp profiles you have to experience to really get. Itβs complex in the best way, with a sweet, creamy, slightly tarty aroma that hits in waves and lingers. That sharp, sweet tart creaminess is layered and fascinating. Definitely one of those jars youβll keep going back to smell, even if youβre not dabbing it. 9.5/10
π : The taste on this jar was super unique, mostly thanks to the Pop Rocks. We all know how Zelato tastes, but paired with Pop Rocks it hits different. As usual with thumbprints, I tried it three ways: outside, inside, and both together.
Pop Rocks has a unique terp profile sweet, creamy, earthy, with a hint of gas. The flavorβs complex and smooth with no harshness, starting fruity and creamy, then finishing with a sharp, earthy OG note. The high is decently potent, great for a chill movie or game sesh.
Zelato was fire, a classic Zkittlez up front, followed by smooth, fruity creaminess. I mean who doesnβt love that combo? The high was nice too, hitting heavy probably due to it being sauce which is usually more potent.
Together, Pop Rocks and Zelato created something special. It starts off sweet, fruity, and Zelato forward, then morphs into an earthy og flavor with a slight spicy finish. What stood out most was the smoothness, it dabbed like water with zero background noise. 9.4/10
Overall: This was my third time trying something from Sensei Solventless. I had the Lemon Hard Candy and Alien OG collabs with Cuban Grower both were fire but what really stood out was the quality, both jars were super clean. Thatβs something Sensei Solventless clearly prioritizes.
This time, Sensei Solventless teamed up with Anudai Farms, a brand I hadnβt tried before but knew won 1st place at Ego Clash 2023 for best indoor flower. The jar checked every box: looks, smell, taste everything was dialed. I donβt think anyone would be disappointed about getting this one.Β
What really stood out was the unique terp pairing and the high. Every jar Iβve had from Sensei Solventless delivers strong medicinal effects, and this one was no different. If thatβs something you look for, Iβd definitely recommend checking out more of his work especially that Alien OG collab with Cuban Grower which I think is coming back shortly.
Sensei Solventless crushed this Pop Rock Lee. I also found out after grabbing it that the Zelato in it took 3rd at Full Moon Sesh melt and missed 2nd by a point just confirming how good it was. I ran through two jars and wished I stashed more. 9.6/10
