Strain Review: Apple Jam by Jungle Boys

Having previously had Apple Fritters and S&C F2 individually, I felt fairly neutral towards this cross, although coming in with a total sum of cannabinoids at 42.23%, this may potentially be the highest rated flower I have had yet. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of sour apples and sweet strawberry notes, paying homage to its name fittingly. This sweet and sour infusion, had undertones consisting of light cookies and minty cream, displaying its Cookies and Cream lineage. The distinctive Jungleboys scent commonly noted on most of their flowers was also present. The buds were of a medium to hard density, having the usual Jungleboys structure, being a light shade of green, with minimal rustic hydroponic hairs, showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by an even balance of both; sweet creamy strawberries and a sour apple influenced gas transcending into a familiar Cookies and Cream backend. With both flavours complementing each other effectively, the distinctive taste of Apple Fritters cookies with sweet creamy undertones is retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a medium shade of silver, alongside a dripping and oozing resinous oil ring, smoking both relatively smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, with Apple Jam consisting of a unique cross of flavours, this flowers stands aside from the usual staple flavours, and although not my personal preference, it ticked all the boxes, tasted how it was meant to, and was overall a decent flower.
