Here we have a collaboration between High Volume and Mount Burnin Farms, coming in with Beef and Broccoli, being Zkittles and Gelato. On opening, I instantly received inviting notes of a pungent Gelato influenced gassy aroma, infused with sweet candy and slight notes of grape. The buds looked beautiful, having a perfect density, and boulder structure, displaying the Gelato genetics. They were green with purple hues, covered in trichomes. On the inhale, my palate was overcome by the taste of sweet candy, with gentle grape and citrus notes, alongside a gassy Gelato dominance. The flavours collided instantly, heavily leaning towards the Gelato (not being your normal cross of Zkittles and Gelato). On the exhale, I was left with the essence of light cream, sweet candy and strangely the taste of meat (literally like “beef”) on my tastebuds. Which actually wasn’t as bad as it sounds. The joint produced a medium to light shade of grey ash, with a oozing oil ring. It smoked relatively smooth and clean enough. Hopefully HV and MBF continue to collaborate and get this already great flower dialled in to its full potential. Overall I enjoyed Beef and Brocolli and would repurchase.
