Strain Review: Dirty Banana by EastCann
Dirty Banana Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
Of all the May drops this is the one I was most antsy for. The type of weed that makes me excited by where I work and what I do. EastCann made their debut in Ontario earlier this year with Crunch Berry Kush, a can that blew me away. It was clearly grown by heads, who care about what daily smokers care about. I even have a can at home waiting for a special occasion. And Dirty Banana met even those inflated expectations! To start it has exotic genetics worth getting excited about. Banana OG x Kush Mints #11. From both sides we get heavy indica genetics and terps, while the parents in the Banana offer a nice balance from limonene and the Kush Mints provides pinene. Then when you open the can the freshness is amazing. Perfectly spongey, these tight buds are still very light, making it look like I got 7 instead of 3.5. That second pic is after about half was smoked away. The smell that jumps out is on the more earthy side, but undeniably sweet. Almost like a muskier Romulan or Nuken, it has a unique tea type note that really pops when ground. As for effects, I was again reminded of their phenomenal cut of Crunch Berry. Despite its 28% THC count, the high is more gentle, feeling like a creeper. But be warned! In combination with their great cure and freshness it is all too easy to smoke bowl after bowl, not realizing that you have smoked a whack ton til it’s too late. The waviness is strong but with all the uplifting elements it becomes the perfect beach weed. Squinting is inevitable, but you’ll have enough energy for some volleyball or a slow-mo run. It has a whole bunch of body relief and I instantly found my shoulders drop. Bliss Whether as a day off wake n bake, to Netflix and chill (for real or otherwise), or even just a smooth flower to roll a massive blunt that won’t make you hack up a lung, this one is perfect. If looking for a hard hitter you can do better, but for overall quality and unparalleled freshness here it is. Plus it’s organic! EastCann please bring your other flower to Ontario, between your Black Dolato and new Citradelic Sunset I am jonesing for more unique strains. Spongey, sticky, and oh so fresh. 🌿🍑🎷🎷🧑🏽🌾 #eastcann #dirtybanana #bananaog #kushmints #ghostog #sagarmartha #bubbakush #animalmintsHey my name is Sean out of Body and Spirit Cannabis, a fully independent licensed bud store at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto.
