Island Punch Strain Review

I wasn’t expecting much out of this at first, it looked like something I’d be disappointed with when he first got the big C-Vault out to weigh it but it has really grown on me since I got it. I’m almost through it and am currently pretty stoned off of it. It didn’t smell much when I popped the container in the car at the dispensary and turned me off from that point on. After getting into it more I take back my initial judgement fully 😂 I couldn’t find terpene information for this specific cross but I know caryophyllene is prevalent in both parents, along with linalool in purple punch giving it a slightly springy smell. It’s smell is very light though, not overwhelming on the nose but it gets stronger as you break it up and even stronger when you grind it. Tasting it was like eating a beet, super earthy but you know it’s supposed to be like that. It was drier on the outside but ground up very nicely and stuck to my fingers. Also kinda made the rolling a little more difficult though but 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ It has a strong high, and came on fast enough to give me a slight wavy/dizzy feeling that I didn’t mind. The caryophyllene is obvious and this strain makes you feel like doing stuff and keeps you slowed down a bit while doing anything. It carries the outer layer of purple punch’s heaviness but the core of the high keeps you aware and also a little bit euphoric. It’s a head buzz at first and settled into that state of euphoria. It’s definitely worth a try and I’ll be trying more of their flower as it drops @natural_alternatives_foco
