With a majority of strains coming from Baydestrians smoking pleasantly well, I was interested in seeing how the pink counterpart of Jalebi fared. Upon opening I instantly received a familiar pungent gassy earthiness, displaying strong notes of Skunk and Sherbet with traits of cream and menthol, complemented by a deep centred floral candy sweetness consisting primarily of cherries.

The buds were of a medium to hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green, covered in a dark purple coat with violet guts, alongside bright messy rustic pistils and absolutely covered in a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a Sherbet influenced earthiness with Kush overtones, complemented by a faint floral creaminess with light notes of cherries. The taste of this faintly sweet Sherbet earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked fairly smooth and tasted clean.

To conclude, although with Pink Jalebi’s Sherbanger lineage not being a personal favourite of mine, I found the Jalebi managed to add enough sweetness, resulting in an overall tatsy profile. The lineage was displayed effectively, smoking reasonably well, resulting in a tasty rendition of Sherbanger. With some further dialling in, PJ can easily remain a staple of The Baydestrian lineup, serving as a good choice for enthusiasts of Sherbanger crosses.
