Strain Review: Stringer Bell by The Baydestrians x World Is Yours Exotics

Having enjoyed the latest Shottas signature series from WIYE and Baydestrians, I was excited to be able to get their latest release of three new strains. With the branding themed on the iconic American crime TV series, The Wire.
With each strain referencing some of the main protagonist’s from the show, starting with Stringer Bell. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an evenly distributed gassy candy, displaying notes of cherries, strawberries and citrus, alongside a pungent earthy, piney and chemical gas with faint nutty undertones, exhibiting its lineage well. The buds were of a hard density, having a hybrid structure.
They were a shade of light green with sporadically attractive pink and purple guts, alongside minimal pistils and absolutely covered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by a sweet candy essence consisting of dark cherries and strawberries, complemented by a pungent Gelato profile delivering a familiar creamy and earthy gas with added notes of almonds, citrus, menthol and fuel. Pleasant notes of caramelised onions began to develop, leaving the taste of this enjoyable gassy candy retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, I ultimately found Stringer Bell to deliver an enjoyable Gelato dominant Biscotti, alongside a satisfying amount of sweet candy. It smoked pleasantly well, ticking a lot of boxes and with minimal dialling in required, will remain a great choice for enthusiasts of the best of both profiles.
