Platinum Cake Strain Review

I was looking at the probably 12+ strains they had and this one kept catching my eye, I glanced at it 5 times and decided to trust my gut. I don’t get much flower so this is the full gram+ but it’s a very beautiful bud, full trichome production all the way to the stem and different hues of purple throughout. The smell reminds me of a sweet coffee and chocolate, it’s easy on the nose but obvious. Breaking it open, I noticed a lot more dried fruit in the smell. It’s really dense, at first I thought it was gonna be dry but it’s very.. crisp I guess is a good word? 😂 very resinous after handling the buds and had to wash my hands before rolling because the paper would stick to my fingers. I can’t find much on the terpene profile from anyone, but I’d have to guess it strays away from the typical high Myrcene and limonene. It’s likely high in caryophyllene, humulene, linalool and that slight fruit smell could be Myrcene (maybe is why it smells like coffee too🤷🏻‍♂️). The taste though is definitely earthy which kinda confirms the Myrcene thing. It’s a heavy hitting high, felt all the way from the head to the legs and it’s hazy. It was a little harder to form sentences and my eyes felt like I slept with contacts in.
