Having tried the recent drops of Bukkake and Cindy’s Kooky, I was left feeling fairly neutral on what to expect, however from hearing positive reviews on Press Play, I thought I’d see what it was like for myself. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of extreme sweet candy, predominantly consisting of red grapes, with subtle cherry undertones. This sweet scent was accompanied by notes of a Gelato influenced gas, with light citrus notes, being more candy dominant.
The buds were of mixed density, being a medium shade of green, with spots of violet and hydroponic hairs, covering a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by the anticipated candy sweetness translating from the smell. The taste of sweet red grapes, berries and cherries, with heavy sherbet overtones transcend evenly, accompanied by pleasant faint citrus and Gelato notes.
The joint tasted clean, and relatively smooth, producing ash being a shade of light to medium silver, alongside a sweating resinous oil ring. To conclude, I feel that this is one of the better releases of the Scumbags lineup, and for a first release it ticked all the boxes and prevailed well as a candy dominant flavour profile, although Sherbet heavy, hopefully it can be dialled in slightly further to achieve maximum smoothness. I can’t wait to try Scumbags newest drop, Skins.
