Purple Jah Goo Strain Review

I apologize in advance I smoked this too fast to remember to get some good pictures of, but WOW did this impress. House grown flower tends to be hard to do right unless your grow team has the passion instead of the drive to sell. Most of the time it doesn’t have the bag appeal that a lot of the AAA growers in CO present through their strains, but NA did a wonderful job with this. Besides the fact that it’s a brand new strain to me overall, I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was and I hope that’s not harsh but this exceeded all expectations. It was a bit dry, but structure and color all pointed to a professionally clean grow. Clean, clean material. It burns nicely and doesn’t leave any harsh metallic feeling that some smoke normally has especially towards the end of the bowls. Grabbing the nugs I thought it was going to crumble but when I broke it down and ground it, I couldn’t get my fingers to stop sticking to anything I touched. I had to wash my hands with isopropyl. There’s no information on the genetics whatsoever. No search results, nothing. It’s a mystery strain that makes you feel like you just found a private grower that has unheard of smoke. Based on its smell and taste it’s gotta be very high in linalool and Myrcene. The smell is dominated by fruit, the typical pungent purple strain smell. You know what I’m talking about, straight sugar and tart. Reminiscent of grape gummies and maybe strawberry syrup. This has an incredible flavor profile, it’s similar to sour patch kids in the taste more than smell. It’s high makes me think a lot. Most of the strains that have a classic heavy profile like this really put you down and out, but this allowed for a super heavy body stone with a hot and heavy head buzz. It’s like brain fog but equivalent to San Francisco’s heavy ass fog. This is a pure example of why indica and sativa mean nothing for unique effects; to any average uneducated consumer this is a true indica by smell, taste and looks until you feel how it affects you. It lets you know it’s in your legs and arms but you know damn well you’re aware of it at the same time.
