STICKY RICKY (BERNER’S BATCH)

Again, with the same genetics (but a different Doggy Bag phenotype) as the previously reviewed GFG Riddallar and Red Velvet Series, we have Sticky Ricky. With this being from the same batch gifted to Berner, I was extremely excited to be able to get hold of this gem. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of a now familiar but unique scent, displaying pungent Gelato and E85 influenced gassy notes, accompanied by nutty and slightly musty undertones infused with a unique faint creamy candy aroma. Smelling reminiscent of Grandi Candi and Red Velvet Series combined. The buds were stunning, having a hard density and foxtail structure, being a shade of medium to light green, underneath a purple layer, with faint violet hues, alongside protruding rustic hairs, and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by a unique gas, displaying traits of menthol, sweet Kush and Gelato, paying homage to its E85 and DB genetics. A distinctive but subdued floral candy backend quickly develops, consisting of faint grapes and cherries, but with a twist, leaving a unique infusion of a sweet but slightly nutty, predominant gas retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light silver, alongside a sweating and oozing resinous oil ring, smoking both smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, with Sticky Ricky not tasting like the average sweet gassy strain, it may not appeal to everyone, however I personally could appreciate the uniqueness of its genetics, boasting some great strains, and after a little further dialling in, this will remain a great staple strain.
