Strain Review: Wee-Bey by The Baydestrians x World Is Yours Exotics

Having enjoyed both A. Barksdale and S. Bell from The Wire signature series by WIYE and Baydestrians, I was excited to be able to try the last instalment, Wee Bey; named after another protagonist from The Wire, boasting an exciting lineage described above.
Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an extremely sweet candy and bubblegum aroma, displaying notes of strawberries, cherries and blackcurrants. This enticing sweetness was accompanied by an earthy, creamy Gelato, with refreshing piney and fizzy citrus overtones, with hints of spice and chemicals. The buds were of a hard density, having a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light green with hues of purple and attractive pink and purple guts, alongside messy rustic pistils and absolutely showered in trichomes.
Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by an earthy gas with hints of pine, cream, hazelnut and chemicals. A sweet and partially sour infusion of dark cherries, raspberries and blueberries with hints of spice equally complemented this gas, primarily exhibiting its Black Raspberry Gelato lineage. The taste of this spicy and faint sourly sweet bubblegum gas is retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked smoothly and tasted clean.
To conclude, I ultimately found Wee-Bey to deliver an unique Runtz cross, exhibiting its Black Raspberry Gelato lineage effectively, by introducing a distinctive sourly sweet and spicy influence to its sweet Zkittles and pungent Gelato genetics. It smoked pleasantly well, ticking a lot of boxes and with a little further dialling in, can remain a great choice for enthusiasts of candy and gassy profiles, especially Black Raspberry crosses.
