Maximus OG Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
Maximus OG has great bag appeal. The buds are medium-sized, chunky, and dense, with a pointed, spear-like shape. The coloration is lime green with lesser, darker green leafage. The flower has fairly thick, tangerine orange pistil fibers that merge with the surface of each bud. Each nug is totally encrusted in a willowy layer of snowy-white trichomes that softly sparkles 😍 The nose on Maximus OG is astounding. It’s a clean kush-forward smell with notes of pine, lemony citrus, and light, skunky diesel. Layers of sour tangerine and lime merge perfectly with the citrus smell to create an aura of fruity freshness around the musky, skunkiness of the rest of the profile. The flower let’s out a sweet, almost candied, kushy funk when broken and the ground product has a spiced, incensed quality to it ⛽️ The flavor of the Maximus OG is just as remarkable as the scent. It’s a fresh and funky, kush forward with a light, lemon and orange citrus zest. The juxtaposition of the woody earthy kush with hefty diesel gas, next to a fresh, fruity citrus and pine creates this robust and clean flavor. The lemon citrus notes get stronger the further down the joint burns until the last few hits are sour and spicy. The aftertaste is woody, earthy, spiced, and incensed with a diesel flavor that sticks on the lips 🍋 The effect on the Maximus OG is prominent. It starts off nice and light, but a pervasive weightiness creeps in and couch locks the user before they even notice. It creates a relaxing feeling of pressure in the head and back and a significant heaviness behind the eyes after a couple joints. The flower is soft and creates a negligible amount of kief when ground. The flower burns perfectly and remarkably smoothly all the way down to the last hit 😶🌫️ All in all, I really enjoyed the Maximus OG. Its a stellar cultivar that reminds me of how much I enjoy Starkiller OG genetics. The bag appeal is solid, the aromatic and flavor profile is delightfully and delectable, and the high is full-bodied. Phenomenal work all around 🔥Check out more reviews by @pnw_chronic on Instagram!
