1st Cured Cup comes to Thrive Homestead Community on May 20th

The Thrive Homestead will play host to the very first Cured Cup – a cannabis competition meant to honor the art of curing and post processing cannabis. The event is being organized by Joey Burger, and will feature live music, delicious food from the likes of award winning local vendors such as Terped Out Kitchen, and properly cured flower. If that sounds like the event for you, then come along. Joey Burger, sometimes better known as The Humboldt Local, told THC:

“We are very excited to be shining the light on the nearly lost art form of Curing Cannabis with this first edition of the Cured Cup. A skillful and passionate dance of time and technique that brings out the peak potential of each cultivar. This important step of the process is often overlooked and forgotten by cultivators rushing their harvests into the Rec market but is being kept alive and appreciated by Traditional Market Cultivators, Home Growers and Experienced Connoisseurs. With this celebration we honor those who elevate their craft to the highest levels.”
