Candy Fumez #12 vs. Candy Fumez #1 Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review
Candy Fumez, a cultivar in the Candy/Gassy category, has been making significant waves. Bred by @bostonrootsseedco the cross between Sherbanger and Zkittles is a brilliant creation that enhances the experience for connoisseurs. I had the opportunity to meet @516.hort, and from what I’ve heard, he has mastered the art of cultivating Candy Fumez. I ended up with both the Candy Fumez, C1 and C12, with the C1 being the first version that was possibly released months ago, and the C12 being the latest selection from the phenohunt for the ideal pheno.
The C1 showcases characteristics from the Sherbanger side of the lineage, with buds that resemble the narrow leaves of Biker Kush. Although the aroma of C1 is less pungent, it delivers a gassy experience on the palate. The nose is filled with candy, limonene, and floral fragrances, while the palate offers a spicy-sweet combination of caryophyllene, blueberry, myrcene, and OG fuel on the finish. The ash burns 70% salt to 30% pepper. When consumed, it provides a diesel candy flavor on both the inhale and exhale. The effects are primarily cerebral with a mild body high. The buzz sets in after 4 or 5 pulls, leading to an immediate onset. The effects can last for about 2 hours, with intense headiness lasting around 1.5 hours.
On the other hand, the structure of the C12 leans more towards the Zkittles side of the lineage. It has an extremely gassy aroma as soon as you open the jar. The ash report shows 90/10 more salt than pepper. The inhale offers a cleaner experience with more emphasis on the Zkittles flavor, while the sherbanger fuel lingers as an aftertaste. The buzz starts after 3 or 4 pulls, also resulting in an immediate onset. The inhale and exhale provide a soothing sweetness, ending with a diesel funk. The intense headiness of the C12 is more euphoric compared to the C1.
Overall, the high from C12 is one of the best experiences coming from my experience with Candy Fumez. ———-
In conclusion, C12 is undoubtedly the standout, but C1 also has its merits. They are different and great in their own ways. C12 excels in terms of appeal, aroma, and effects, while C1 shines in palate, aroma, and effects as well. Both versions of Candy Fumez are unique and capable of delivering a fantastic smoking experience. Therefore, the winner is C12 —-
C1 – 4.5/5 — C12- 5/5
