Cultivar Review: Dip n Stix by Pleasant Effects

@pleasanteffects is a small batch cannabis brand/ cultivator from Rhode Island. PE been putting in that work for a hot minute, 18 years and counting(shoutout to @thehighestcritic for the info on website). I’ve seen Pleasant effects work for a while, finally got the opportunity to review his flower. The first one is the Dips N Stix, bred by @beleafloves. The story is that this is a cut from the original Sugarcone. Dips N stix is the combination of Platinum x Slurricane. It was grown in coco. The nugs resembles Slurricane’s structure. The Key lime green color buds, tiger orange color pistils, forrest green color hues. The flower was a bit dense and sandy on the grind. The scent gave in to a herbal, sweet, slight skunk aroma. The palate is an earthy, fuel blends with chamomile citrus, candy honey pepper savor . It’s starts with the limonene and ends with the caryophyllene terpenes. The effects are a heavy intense cerebral high, medium body high. The buzz starts around 6-7 pulls in. The headiness effects can last up to an hour. The smoke experience had me stuffed on the first try due to my allergies 🤧. I was high as a kite but couldn’t smell nothing . On the second try after taking a allergy pill non drowsy, I was able to enjoy the experience. Overall high can last about 2 hrs, with a 70/30 more salt than pepper on the ash. In conclusion, the appeal compliments the scent & effects. The palate wasn’t the craziest but still enjoyed the sesh. 3.5 – 3 – still reasonable, might be attracted by two – three things on the cultivar ..
3- 2.5 – needs work work work – (Rihanna voice)
2.5 – 2 – 1 — needs to be revamped or probably should be cut off
