Reup Farms Jealousy Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

jealousy by reup farms strain review by pnw_chronic 2The Jealousy has wonderful visual appeal. Its dense, medium-sized buds are mostly rounded with a gorgeous, variegated green and purple color scheme. The gradient of purple leafage on display goes from midnight black to almost blue, all interspersed by short, dark orange pistils and large granular trichomes 😍 The nose on Jealousy is marvelous. It’s an obscenely sweet, sugary aroma with a hefty, scintillating zest to it. It has layers of tangy citrus, sweet fruit, and dulcet creaminess, along with a clean gas that, when incorporated, absolutely seduces the senses. Breaking up the buds brings out the sweet notes even more and the ground product smells tart and gassy with a light herbal spice to it. Overall, Jealousy reminds me of Nerds candy 🍬 The flavor on the Jealousy translates masterfully. It’s a tantalizing, tart and sugary profile with layers of citrus and fruit paired creamy vanilla. The gassiness present is closer to a mellow, caramelized zest that intermingles the rest of the profile and creates a toothsome and titillating treat. The candied, sweet flavor tickles the tongue and becomes more tangible as the joint burns down until the palette is engulfed in a sugary spice. The flower leaves a confectionary flavor that slowly fades into a more herbal and earthy aftertaste 🍭 The effect on Jealousy is remarkable. It’s an initially light and euphoric high that’s followed by the onset of cognitive fog, forehead pressure, and a feeling of heaviness in the shoulders. I felt functional after consuming smaller amounts, but increasing usage really seemed to amplify the effects. The flower is soft, minority sticky, and leaves a candy-scented, resinous oil on the fingers when breaking up. It creates a minor, almost negligible amount of small grained kief when ground. The flower burns flawlessly and smoothly all the way down 😶‍🌫️ All in all, I loved smoking through the Jealousy. I’m such a sucker for sugary, dessert cultivars and this one translates all the way through to the last hit with the cloyingly sweet candy profile. Phenomenal work all around on this one 🔥
