Wedding Cake 🎂 @organicalternatives_co @makakalai I could be one of the only people who don’t like actual wedding cake. It’s too much, frosting is too much 🤣 but when it comes to cannabis, it’s easily one of the powerhouse strains that you can turn to if all else isn’t good enough. It’s profile is recognizable by at least the average knowledgeable smoker. I think it’s a variable strain; can be great as bud or concentrate, it usually ends up being more impressive as concentrate though. Organic alternatives’ products have slowly been improving so if you haven’t gone yet you should at least give them a try. Terpene content was high in this, it was sensitive to the tool and hugged it like it was trying to not fall off. Textures like this usually hint to it being a fairly fresh batch as well, with it being single sourced using their flower and processing. The dominant terpenes are caryophyllene, Myrcene and humulene. They did a really good job of making all 3 of these easy to identify on their own; an earthy peppercorn crispness is the most prominent smell and makes it really unique. Not many strains have quite the spice to it like this one. Along with that was a smell of dirt covered fruit and a bit musky (my guess is from the humulene, smells of hops are also similar to the musky smell in this, think about the smell inside a brewery). Tastes are always harder to describe I’ll admit. In my experience, caryophyllene tends to be dominant in taste when it’s present in the strain even in the slightest. Makes the smoke a tiny bit harsh, but otherwise it’s clean, spicy and coats your tongue with gas It will creep on you. I know Halloween’s over but wedding cake will find it’s way into your mind and body slowly. You’ll feel the initial heavy head pressure that tells you you’re in for a challenging high. At first it feels like your tolerance is getting in the way until about 5-10 min after the dab, you’ll start to question if you even smoked that day at all beforehand. Of course be aware that this may not affect you exactly the same because our ECS’s are entirely unique when it comes to what we feel and even taste/smell.
