Synonymous with Canadian craft, Broken Coast gained popularity in the early days of legalization being one of the only LPs able to carry over the same standards from their legacy days. Known for unwavering top tier bag appeal featuring incredibly sticky and flavorful buds, Amnesia Haze upholds the same standards that made them famous! A dank wave of floral sweetness washed over when I cracked the seal, smelling just like this cult cultivar should. The top note has a subtle sweetness recalling country gardens semi wild. Underneath is another sweet note, but one more robust like honey, providing a backstop that rounds everything out. This comes together in the exhale leaving an aftertaste that coats the mouth like the honey was infused with geraniums. The rest of the bag appeal can be seen in the pic. Its gorgeous and about as sticky as possible, carrying Broken Coast’s signature cure For all the complaints about dry legal weed, Broken Coast’s cure can sometimes go too far in the other direction, leaving too much moisture, and the same happened here. While burning grey is not necessarily a bad sign, their cure, which is meant to emphasize the taste, also results in some pretty harsh smoke. It is by no means unsmokable, like one LP carrying an abbreviation as a brand name, but you may need to recover between hits or decide to sip on it rather than gulp it down As for effects, fans of the strain should get very excited. It has the trademark super stoney, almost hash like high, without the slightest couchlock or sedation. Just like hash the high is slow to set in and takes its time leaving. It is easy to get spaced out and lose track of your thoughts. Any task requiring more than muscle memory is untenable. Even watching a movie was impossible, I lost track of scenes as they were happening. I eventually just put on some music to vibe out.
