True Genetics Apple Fritter Strain Review

Apple Fritter (historically Sour Apple x Animal Cookies) easily passes the eye test, boasting nugs with an incredible eggplant/ dark wine color, forest green sugar leaves, and patches of pumpkin colored pistils erupting all over. Trichomes are present throughout, giving the nugs a visible sugary coating. The nugs I was gifted were smaller, dense, but fluffy on the grind. Apple Fritter’s flavor was less fruity, yet overall more complex than originally expected. On the initial inhale, I tasted a earthy, “cookie” flavor, with a hint of fruit juice, potentially apple, in the background. Similarly, a pastry vibe is evident on the backend, with notes of pine and cheese on the exhale. I found this smoke to be incredibly rich and smooth. Apple Fritter, typically quite high in THC, had some really pleasant effects to report. Initially felt behind the eyes, Apple Fritter has a trance-inducing, euphoric effect which will help turn around the worst of days.
