First things first, Sour Packs’s Apple Fritters looks like none other. DEEP purple and lavender hues dominate the look, perfectly complimenting the pale green base of the bud. Fiery organs pistils, and frosty trichomes complete the look, despite its name sake, this strain looks like Sour grape candy or a purple colored sour patch kid.Moreover, Apple Fritters looks and smells like candy, given its “sugar coated” appearance, and sweet subtly gassy and piney smell. Apple Fritters tastes like one would expect. Hit from a water pipe, Apple Fritters fills the mouth and lungs with a thick, flavorful smoke with notes of citrus, fruit, slight pine and caramelized sugar. It’s lip smacking good, and this strain sat itself right in my top 10 flavorful strains upon first inhale. The effects creep up on you, and as it’s lineage suggests, has definite Indica roots. Users should expect an intensely calming and euphoric experience, without the couch lock and tired eyes effect sending you to sleep. This strain sits at 26%, and has the flavor and effect desirable in all Indica leaning hybrids. Great for a much needed de-stress, evening and/or weekend use.
