Blue Icee Strain Review

blue icee by buck brands strain review by toptierterpsma 2What’s up everyone? I hope all of you are having a great second day of the week and are ready for another review! Today I have the second-to-last installment of the Bucks Brand collection that we have been covering over the last week or so. This one is another Runtz pheno (White Runtz I speculate) based on the look and smell. Without question this one left a little more of an impression than the last three just off of looks and smell alone. The Blue Icee I was gifted by Buck did not disappoint. First off, another cool design by @printplug_official on this one. Similar to the Purple Icee we reviewed last week the design on the packaging will create some nostalgia. Opening the bag was a treat as a strong, candied aroma filled the air which instantly gave me a vibe of Runtz. The difference between this one, as compared the previous three we reviewed, this had more of a sugary sweet smell that lacked a citrus component. Additionally, the initial nose on it out of the bag was a force to be reckoned with. As soon as that pungent odor crept into my nose the I was confident the smoke was going to be pressure. With bright white calyx that turned to purple as the bud rotated, this was one of the more picturesque Runtz cuts I have found in the area in recent memory. Naturally, the buds were soft and squishy leaving tiny trichomes and pistols on your fingers (Wash your hands after!). Very simple breaking this up and actually had an incredible yield which was more on the fluffier side. Remember, to stuff the joint the more the merrier. Overall Rating 8.8/10 Once I lit this one up in an Organic RAW my tastebuds started to tango. That candied, fruity burst exploded upon the first hit. Each pull was better than the last and this one burned pretty evenly given it’s soft and squishy texture. The ash on it was lighter gray and the inhale was an absolutely throat stomper. A perfect res ring formed around the cherry once again creating an enhanced burn. Gassy notes of blueberry dominated this smoke which, at some points during the sesh, felt like I was drinking a blueberry Icee oddly. Those hints of blueberry and candy could be felt long after the smoke as I checked every now and then to see if the taste still lingered. To add to it all, the stickiness of the bud could also be felt long after as well on both the lips and tongue. You are going to want to plan a night on the couch for this one. Try to compliment it with a movie or documentary because you aren’t going to have a care in the world after lighting up. There wasn’t a second wasted to feel the effects kick in. About 5-10 minutes in the sesh I felt myself staring at the joint. The sedating vibes lasted well over an hour and, truth be told, I felt out of it. I personally feel like most of the street runtz/gelato cuts are more on the moderate side when it comes to the high they give you, however, every now and then you run into one that is a cut above. This was certainly one of those. I think Buck reached into his bag for this one. He gave me one of those smirks when he gifted me with like he had a trick up his sleeve. I appreciate the generosity and we will conclude this series with his Scammers Delight pack in the near future.
