Strain Review: Blueberry Syrup by Evan’s Creek Farms
If you missed out on the Grandpa’s Gun Chest, never fret. I’m pretty sure a number of places around town are still carrying this Blueberry Syrup.

Original Breeder: Calco Genetics
Grower: Evan’s Creek Farms

Admittedly, we’re talking different quality tiers here. Like, this is really good weed. It’s grown by @evans_creek_farms, that’s the *bare minimum* you’re gonna get. That Gun Chest was just otherworldly, though.
The grower managed to make berry terps not boring for me. Like, mad blueberry notes, but not fresh blueberries. The mixture of sweetened berries, earthy spice, and little hint of pine reminded me of Czech kompot, that spiced berry jam. Super complex, super enjoyable.
It had a real talkative head space and a strong body high. That body load actually resembled some panic symptoms for me, just a word to the wise. Heavy eyes, plus some disorientation. Indica high without necessarily leaving you passed out.
Look, compared to most of the weed on the market, I’d give this a hard 9/10. By the standards @evans_creek_farms have set, though, it’s an 8. Maybe it’s down to subjective preferences, I’m just looking forward to the next run of this stuff so I can form a more full opinion.
