Doppelganger Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

doppelganger by fig farms strain review by reviews_by_jude Score 4.7 Flavor/smokability: First pull of the joint it just smacks sour yogurt with the essence of Christmas pine & citrus to follow. Deeper into joint I could pull out notes of anise some lemon balm essences and black currant. Didn’t really pick up much of the tenderloin meatiness in the flavor but I think it was still very complex but well rounded. The joint burned even and smooth with some mild to moderate expansion. Score 4.5/5 Effect: the first thing I started to feel was the old school headband type feeling. Slight pressure but not unpleasant. It Makes my thoughts slow down a bit. Not too much to be debilitating but it has nice anxiolytic effects. My muscles feel a lot more relaxed with a general feeling of ease. I feel like this is a mid to late day type of strain. It can make you a little tired if Intaking a decent amount but I admire it’s versatility. One thing I will say is that it does have legs. I notice this effect having a longer duration than most other cultivars I’ve smoked lately. This is a great one to listen music with as it tends to be really easy to zone out. Overall score 18.8/20 or 94% solid A Fig farms is always a go to for me when I go to the dispensary lately. Their quality control is unmatched. Whenever I open a jar of theirs I’m met with fresh produce every time. Moisture content is always on point and I just love their packaging. The box is fancy with a solid logo but the clear jar illustrating the immaculate flower is what seals the deal. This and the Holy Moly are probably my favorite by them so far. Looking forward to trying more. Score 4.7/5 Appearance: The flowers have a emerald green coloration with more darker olive green guard leaves. The bud structure is more spear like than anything. Lots of visible long stalked resin glands. Breaking down the flower is borderline sappy/sticky but still workable. The few Pistils are rusty red and pretty sparse. Overall I really like the look. In a see of purple it’s nice to appreciate some killer green bud. This definitely falls into that category. Score 4.9/5 Smell: One of the most interesting terpene profiles I’ve smelled to date. First crack of the jar it has a strong stench of four week sour old milk also some citrus pine cleaner with a potent backend of rotten guava. I’d say there’s a layer a powdered sugar sweetness in the mix too. Underneath all that all that fruity sourness is a stanky meaty undertone. I guess you could I would classify it as kind of teriyaki esque but definitely not the main stand out in the aroma. I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever smelled anything like it. doppelganger by fig farms strain review by reviews_by_jude 2
