Khash Tree Mason Grandma’s Cookies Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

grandma's cookies by khash tree mason strain review by jaz_reviews_ca PREFACE: What a 4/20! When I heard khash tree mason was having a popup at @trove.sf a block away from hippie hill I had to go. I was lucky enough to meet the man himself and was gifted with some Grandma’s cookies from his personal headstash! To get a chance to meet a living legend true to their craft was an experience I’ll never forget. Overall Hippie hill blew away any expectations I had and was by far the largest cannabis event I’d ever been to, 100% recommend adding 420 at the hill to any stoner bucket list. INFO: For those unfamiliar with Khash or this strain, he’s an OG grower whose name stands out in that top tier of small batch craft grown exclusive cannabis in California. His style of growing in living soil with only veganic inputs and probiotics with no pesticides or chemicals isn’t easy and 12 weeks of flowering only speaks to the passion and love going into these plants. This stuff goes for mind blowing tickets and is incredibly rare to find even in California. If ever given an opportunity to try his products don’t hesitate ! VISUALS: 10/10 This is the most unique bud structures I’ve seen so far at this point in my life. The nug shape looked just like the head of a grain of wheat, with enlarged calyxs twisting and slightly foxtailing on top of each other. Color wise this was a a super light shade of green, almost like a cremé green like color. The calyx’s curl up and inwards and have delicate small purple sugar leaves attached. The trichome coverage on this is insane, it literally blinded my camera with a flash on and has some of the thickest crystal like heads I’d ever seen complimented with seemingly untouched orange pistils that stuck out and off of the nugs while giving them a hairy appearance. SMELL :10/10 Old school cookies to the max is the first smell profile I got, that earthy yet clove/nutmeg spice like smell with a pungent funky putrid gassiness that gave me skunky GMO vibes when a nug was cracked. Similar to the previous living soil flower I had tried this one had a slight plant like material smell to it that I’ve now come to recognize as attributed to living soil flower. TASTE & EFFECTS: 10/10 Without a doubt the cleanest plant material I’ve ever put in my lungs. The smoothest lung expansion with no urge to cough whatsoever. The taste was straight cookies through the bong with those hints of gas and skunk really coming through. As a wake and bake this was perfect, hitting me back with some effects before I could even put the bong down. The grandmas cookies hit me with one of the cleanest and clearest headed highs I’d ever experienced, starting off with a warm but welcoming wave that spread through my whole body from my legs to my cranium. Euphoric brainlock hit at the peak last for over an hour before settling down to a tranquil experience akin to the comedown off a shrooms trip. Two bowls of this had me weed drunk and it was amazing. So grateful for an opportunity to review some of the most exclusive flower in the world. @khash_treemason thank you for making my 420! grandma's cookies by khash tree mason strain review by jaz_reviews_ca 2
