Hashbrowns Strain Review

Visually, this strain provides great bag appeal. The dense nugs, characterized by shades of green with thick orange hairs, are overlayed with a nice spectrum of purple and gray. The trichromes are thick in many places leaving a frosty finish to the buds. Breaking open a nug reveals a deep spectrum of purple within 😍 When you crack open a jar or bag, this thing smells deep and pungent. Strong garlic terps with a deep underlying smell of earthy hash and starch. I would say this strain smells dirty in a good way. The taste is definitely layered in that regard. Taste wise, garlic and peanuts are apparent on the inhale with that deep earthy hashy under taste. It’s funky – a classic taste with a big garlic twist on it that creates layered savory notes. 🧅🧄🥔🥜 No surprise here, but this strain was sticky due to the high level of resination on it. When grinding it, it actually produced a moderate amount of really dark hashy kief, which I thought was pretty cool. It burned well in a joint, although I found the smoke to be a bit harsh compared to other strains I have gotten from Doghouse. That being said, the strain hits! Full body weighted blanket on kind of high. This one would likely be significant for medical use. 😮‍💨 All in all, I would rate this strain as a, “buy and smoke with friends.” The visuals are on point, the taste and smell are pretty gnarly and savory, and the high drops like an ACME anvil on the head of Wile E. Coyote. To be honest, this wouldn’t be my go-to strain from Doghouse, but that has more to do with my preferences than anything else. Any strain from Doghouse is essentially, “buy on sight,” quality.
