Mint Punch Strain Review

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to snap a few shots of my last few nugs of Mint Punch and offer up some quick thoughts in place of a formal review. As you can see, these buds are completely covered in trichomes, and the strain boasts a muted rainbow-like complexion of blue-violets, periwinkle, macaroon and olive. Not super dense off the stem, but the buds themselves are tightly packed. Though it’s nose leans heavily towards its purple punch lineage with a fruit punch fragrance, the flavor is richer, fresh and doughy-sweet, more akin to a fruit pastry or fruit cake. Touches of an earthy, cool mint and a subtle nutty nutella-like chocolate finish linger on the lips post exhale. Aptly named, Mint Punch packs a serious Indica leaning punch via an array of full bodied effects. Physical relaxation and tension relief are at a maximum as the strain acts like a mild painkiller or a stiff drink.
