Plug Killer Strain Review

plug killer by bucks brand strain review by toptierterpsma 2Happy Monday everyone! It is the start of a new week and we have a new review to kick it off right. Today we will be covering the third strain within the Buck Brands collection we have been going over. The Plug Killer strain is another one for all of you gelato lovers so let’s get into the details. Buck personally told me that the cover work signifies the other brands he’s taking aim at. It’s a pretty bold statement considering there are some reputable brands on there but Buck is confident he can hang with the best of them. This one came in the standard, long rectangular Mylar bag with some pretty cool cover art as mentioned. Forgot to mentioned them on the last two but all these designs were done by @printplug_official. The initial smell out of the bag was a lighter, yet similar, to the smell that came from the War strain we covered last week. Notes of cherries, blueberries and other citrus ran through my nose and there was no second guessing what was in this bag. This gelato certainly had more of an earthy blend to it than the overpowering cherry smell. Spongy and fluffy by nature, the overwhelming green color of this one stood out with its spots of crystallized purple in between. I would say more greenish than the typical gelatos I’m used to seeing which I’m not 100% sure or not would be attributed to the lighting when this was grown. Inversely to what we saw with the War drop, this one had a pretty decent break up and didn’t feel as condensed when being put in the grinder. Like most buds with a spongy and/or fluffy texture, I planned on filling out my joint with a little extra. And yes, this left tiny little particles of weed on my hands and between my fingernails. Overall Rating 8.3/10 When I sparked this one up in an organic RAW, the similarities to the War batch continued. This also had a beautiful white ash with a res ring that wrapped around the perimeter of the cherry. Oil drips covered the sides the more and more the joint disintegrated. The burn was blow, however, the hits were seemingly light. The earthiness outweighed the fruity finish that followed although the notes of cherries and citrus still could be noted throughout the sesh. I didn’t feel like this was as fruity or overpowering as some of the other gelatos I’ve smoked before but nonetheless a smooth smoke. There was no waiting on this one. The high instantly took over, fully encasing my body in a deep euphoric state. There was a potent relaxation feeling that the Plug Killer produced and I seemed to feel at ease with everything going on around me. Additionally, I did catch a mild head high that complimented the sedative effects. This balance added enjoyment to it as it did not cripple me enough to put me completely out of commission. I think this batch can attest to the fact that even if the bud isn’t as aesthetic that doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t have a good high. As always, the portions were generous and that was met with quality service. A good reason why we will see Buck around for two more or these. Much appreciated!
