Although I am not a huge fan of the strain Sherbanger in general, with this being an exclusive new release from Jungleboys I was interested in seeing how their rendition fared. Boasting a high 40.78% total sum of cannabinoids. Upon opening I instantly received a familiar scent of Sherbanger, delivering an old school tangy and pungent Sour Diesel aroma with notes consisting of blueberries infused with apples. This anticipated scent was complemented by a light floral and earthy sherbet influenced gas.
The buds were of a medium to hard density, having a hybrid and typical Jungleboys structure. They were a shade of medium green with hues of purple, harbouring attractivee pink and peach guts, alongside messy rustic pistils, and home to a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a dominating earthy gas with floral and Sherbet traits, accompanied by subdued sweet and sour tangy undertones; exhibiting its Sour Diesel lineage. The taste of this predominantly earthy sherbet gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
The joint produced ash being a shade of almost white to very light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing and dripping resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, although the taste of Sherbanger is not a personal favourite of mine in general, with this factor set aside I found Jungleboy’s rendtion smoked relatively well and ticked most boxes, and despite this not being the best Sherbanger on the market, it definitely was a strong competitor. With some further dialling in, this can be a great choice for enthusiasts of Sherbanger and strains alike.
