Sugar Berry Scone Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

sugar berry scone by louis vuchron strain review by pnw_chronic 2The first thing that jumps out about these gorgeous little mint green nugs is that they are gleaming from being thoroughly caked in frosty trichomes. The trichome stalks are copious, with large granular resin heads that can be seen with the naked eye. Most buds have a thin layer of forest green and dark purple leafage that wraps around the outside surface, as well as small, individual strands of orche pistils that tuck snuggly into the buds 😍 The Sugar Berry Scone has a fragrant and desirable nose. I would describe the primary profile as sweet and fruity mixed berries with a soft undercurrent of doughiness. It has notes of herbal earthiness and pungent seasoning that provide more depth to the overall presentation and invigorate the nasal glands. In general, the scent is reminiscent of sour grape, freshly squeezed berries, and baked cobbler. Breaking open buds releases sugary GSC and sharp spice terps 🍇 The flavor on the Sugar Berry Scone is tasty and stimulating. It’s sweet, fruity, and flavorful, like a medley of fresh grapes and berries. Under the initial fresh fruit splash, the flower hits the user with an acerbic, spiced tongue feel, akin to cinnamon, that becomes more prominent and savory the further down the joint burns. Overall I would describe the profile as having a candied grape forward with an herbal and spicy undertone. The combination generates an exhilaratingly distinct flavor and mouth feel 👅 The high on the Sugar Berry Scone is phenomenal. It starts light at first but creeps up and sinks me by the end of the first joint. It creates some cognitive fogginess, as well as a comfortable weightiness in the body. I felt tiredness and could feel pressure behind my eyes after smoking a few joints. It’s a smooth smoke that burns perfectly all the way down. The flower produces a minor amount of kief when ground up 😶‍🌫️ I thoroughly enjoyed the Sugar Berry Scone. This was an R&D batch that I was fortunate enough to try early, but keep an eye out for new batches of this phenomenal flower dropping in the next few months, the boys at Louis have some heaters in the works 🔥
