Strain Review: Triple Lindy by Blueprint

Not having been fortunate enough to have tried Blueprint’s (and one of the market’s) most sought after strains; Triple Lindy, I was thrilled to be able to finally get it in my hands. With the name referencing a skateboarding trick, rather than a suspected trio cross. Upon opening I instantly received a musky earthy gas with notes of chemicals, fuel and light menthol, alongside creamy and nutty traits. This gassiness was complemented by unique sweet notes consisting of cherries infused with a light blend of guava and lychee. As a reference to those who haven’t come across Triple Lindy, it smells reminiscent of a theoretical combination of Doja’s Hindenburg and Grandiflora’s Grandicandi rather than a typical candy essence with the given genetics. The buds were of a medium to hard density, having a part Zkittles structure. They were a shade of medium green behind a layer of purple, with attractive pink and violet guts, alongside rustic pistils, and absolutely doused in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell. Delivering a musky and earthy Gelato gas, with notes consisting of cream, fuel and chemicals, with nutty and menthol undertones. A mildly sweet, floral infusion of cherries and guava complement this musky gas favourably, with all flavours retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light silver, alongside an instantaneous dripping and oozing resinous oil ring. Although a slight dryness was observed, it smoked both smooth and clean. To conclude, although Triple Lindy is essentially a Runtz, it delivers a unique taste of a dominant Gelato gas infused with a complimentary mild sweetness, rather than having the common candy traits associated with its lineage. With this pleasant uniqueness aside, this particular batch (not dispensary) unfortunately arrived on the drier side, which in favour impaired its full potential.

I kept hearing about this for the past month or so. Especially from the guys at Proper Doinks. They claim this is one of the best things smoking and they ain’t wrong. The bud is a little bit dryer than I’m used to but still sticky and fresh. It’s not the first time I’ve had bud like this, but now I know exactly what they were talking about. I get like an OG taste with a lil sour and love to smoke this in between (mylar) bags of candy. I know I’ll be picking up more of this while it’s around.
