Strain Review: Bucket List 91 x The White 91 by Msiku
🌅 Msiku – Bucket List 91 × The White 91

Msiku, pronounced m-see-goo, is the Mi’kmaq word for grass. Though this stuff is anything but. With a deliberate piece of breeding by Swamp Boys Seeds out of Florida, Starfighter, Bucket List 91, and The White 91 were crossed to create a very uplifting bud that is still sure to punch daily smokers, and can be grown to premium standards consistently.
Opening the top I was disappointed by the nug appeal. Lots of very small guys, with what looked to be a wispy bud structure. However, on closer examination you can see that they are looser at the base forming long petals that have tight buds clustered together. This meant that some of those longer pieces broke off, looking like tiny buds, but they are whole. Protecting the insides, seen in the micro pics. I did not get a single piece of popcorn nor was any shake at the bottom. Incredibly fresh, squishing a nug will leave you fingers sticky. The smell is very bright showing off just the limonene, despite Msiku listing a more balanced terp profile. It smells like fresh homemade lemonade. Not too sweet, just tart and bright.
The smoke follows suit. Because of the great cure it is very smooth. And from the start you feel a boost, lots of energy here. It’s even up enough for an every day wake n bake. Though, at first you can’t help but squint, it settles in to a productive high. Great for writing or just helping you get out the door. The crash for me is nonexistent, another prerequisite as a wake n bake.
This will probably become my wake n bake until MTL puts out more SnS. It’s up and productive with just enough umph. A perfect way to start the day off right. 🪣🤍🍋☀️🏃♂️
