Mohave Chemdawg Strain Review

This heavy hitting hybrid is made up of the infamous OG Kush and the legendary Sour Diesel. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know anything that has OG in it i’m scooping up no questions asked. Now let’s talk about this Hall of Fame strain. First off you are greeted by these monstrous nugs that are so damn frosty that the flash can’t even display how mature these trichomes are. You can tell this is some REAL chem just by how many pistols are popping out these buds. The trichome/pistol ratio could not be more on point. Minus a couple discolored leaves, this flower has A1 bag appeal. As you pop the top, heavy notes of earthy musk and spice weasel it’s way into your nostrils. Post grind you get smacked with an earthy gas. The OG and Sour D combine to make that signature reek of chem⛽️This is my 3rd time picking up @mohavecannabis and every time it’s been fresh as fuck. Not sure why but Mohave seems to be the ONLY company with fresh flower EVERY TIME…But dont take my word for it, just look at slide 8-9 and you tell me if a 1 minute hang time ain’t fresh🤣 The GG5 from mohave had the crown but now the chem is king👑 The flavor is where it gets interesting. You get an earthy spice on the inhale and then like a 60/40 earthy musky with a splash of gas. Sadly the earthy tone was slightly more present than the gas but the after taste is where shit got interesting. Coated my entire mouth with that clean kush flavor🤤 Almost tasted like after you hit a vaporizer THAT kinda clean🧼 Left me smacking my lips after very single hit enjoying every second of it. If you’re looking for something to make you stare off into space and say “holy shit” then you want this chem. This stuff hits so damn hard all I can really say is you’re gonna love it😂 Classic old school feel where it creeps up on you and slowly whips up your brain like fresh meringue🧁 Quickly killing any sad/stressful thoughts it then coats your entire body with an indica morph suit creating maximum relaxation😴 Mohave is hands down my favorite company because they have what other companies don’t..consistently! DING DING🔔 Round 2 with the infamous old school heavyweight chem-DAWGG!👨🏻‍🔬🦮 Got down on this strain back in October and wish I never smoked the last nug. A 55/45 Indica dominant hybrid This time we got the same grower but different dispo. There’s been some talk about the fridge stash and if it actually affects the flower in a negative or positive way. I chose something I was familiar with so I could really see if the fridge was doing some fuckery. Considering it was some Mohave heat you know I was too eager to cough up some chem😖 Solid average sized nugs, with a usual fatty, covered head to toe in a thick coat of chem🥼 Buds are swarmed with brown hairs resembling ants conquering a leftover piece of candy🍬 Them pistols make it crystal clear who wears the pants in the relationship👑 And if we talking sticky, let’s just say your grinder gonna be 🎂 Pop the top and homie in the backseat gonna think you forgot to put on deodorant. Rich musky earthy pepper terps flooded the car like a freshly baked pie in a kitchen🥧 Once broken down you quickly learn why this stain is known for its loudness📢 Before & after the grind is like an acoustic guitar vs an electric🎸 This reek of chem will without a doubt put some noses in the air when sparked😤 Very similar to the last batch I had, the smoke is a little on the earthy side followed by a pleasant peppery kush🌶🍁 Sadly the kush terps didn’t coat the tongue as strong as id like. The last batch was much more flavorful and terps stuck around much longer. Nevertheless still a very enjoyable smoke. My last review I said this was some stare off into space weed🔭 However this batch was not so nasa. Don’t get me wrong, this stuff was still more potent than 98% of the shit on the shelves nowadays. Just seemed to focus more on my head and thoughts than that overall heavy head to toe effect. Very uplifting and joyful but hit my eyes heaviest out of anywhere. A little more mellow than i’d like from a chem in my opinion. At the end of the day, I’d have to say the fridge might play a factor in the decline of flavor. Not saying the flower is flavorless but I can definitely spot a taste difference. I asked Kindmeds why they keep their jars refrigerated and they said it keeps their flower fresh. It says online it’s okay to store it in the fridge as long as the container has an air tight seal. These containers seem to have a solid seal so I don’t see a reason for there to be lack of flavor. Which is why i’m a little confused because this is not the first time there’s been a lack of terps.
