Greasy Runtz Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

Okay, the bag appeal on this strain is fucking insane. The overall coloration is more black and white than anything, giving it a jaw-droppingly exotic look. The dark purple and black leafage stands out so significantly, but it’s still hard to see under layers upon layers of shiny trichromes. There’s also some dark and light green foliage and pale orange pistils providing color contrast. These fluffy nugs are just so freaking gorgeous I can’t get over it. 😍 The aroma of Greasy Runtz is also awesome. The Runtz is definitely leading the charge in this category, providing a plethora of dessert terps. It’s sweet, creamy, sugary, and tangy, but it also has an extreme gassiness that undercuts the profile. There are minor notes of earthiness that add some complexity to the presentation, but overall this thing is dripping hot sugar and gas terps. I found myself eagerly smelling each nug as I broke it down. 🤤 The taste on the strain is complex and delectable. It’s got a sweet forward from the Runtz side of the cross that permeates the overall flavoring, but there’s also an underlying flavoring from the grease monkey side of the strain thats significant. That side is pungent, gassy, spicy, and funky. It’s an interesting balance and one that surprised me given how Runtz leaning the smell is. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the strain. ⛽️ The high on the strain fits like a warm glove. I immediately felt a slight pressure and head high as soon as I started smoking and a nice, relaxed body high shortly after. The strain is somewhat sticky upon breaking up and produces a moderate to heavier amount of kief when grinding. 🥊 Greasy Runtz is phenomenal. It hits, and exceeds, every single criteria across the board with ease. Its a real treat to smoke. @eastwood_gardens_pdx has some genetic heat seeking missiles in stock with their Runtz and Grease Monkey, but that was obvious from their Elephant Ears and Runtz x Horchata.
