Along with all the other recent drops from Tenco, it only made sense that this powerhouse would be on the list. Having collaborated with the infamous Don Merfos Exotics, creating their own OG Kush together (a historical strain we all fell in love with Cali flowers for, and not to mention paving the way for todays strains) I was thrilled to be able to grab myself a limited zip in the short time that stocks lasted. Upon opening I instantly received an eagerly anticipated rush of fresh, piney gas infused with citrus notes and a slight sugary sweet undertone. Smelling reminiscent of rubber, and what I can only imagine a concoction of lemon juice with ground pine leaves, petrol and a dash of sugar would smell like. A true OG. The buds had a medium density, and a typical OG structure. They were a medium to light shade of green, with rustic hydroponic hairs, covering a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a chemically infused gassiness, attached with pine and citrus undertones, and a subtly sweet but sour middle. The combination of flavours complimented each other handsomely, with the taste remaining on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of white, to a very light silver, alongside an absolute gushing and oozing oil ring. The joint smoked both smooth and tasted clean. Being able to appreciate a classic OG, I can corroborate that this OG Kush by Tenco and Don Merfos Exotics is definitely worth purchasing, and adding to the collection of other unique terps. Can’t wait to see more to come in the near future. On a side note, it also goes well with Blue Zushi.
