So I’m trying expand my horizons when it comes to farms I review. My process is to look at local hash tags and such and look for pictures that look too good to be true. I’ve noticed that farms can’t do everything right. If I see high quality photography and astronomical THC numbers, I assume the weed isn’t gonna be up to my usual standards. That process wound me up working with @rosebudgrowers, so I didn’t hesitate at all with @pdxorganicfarms. They had done a recent drop on my last trip to @oregrownindustries, so I grabbed some of their Panda Puffs and Platinum Candy Mints. Platinum Candy Mintz Strain Review

The PCM actually won a High Times award recently. I don’t know if I would give it any kind of award, frankly, but it was decent. The high far outmatched the smell and taste. Shit hits like a truck. The smell and taste were kinda average at best, if I’m honest. Candy and dough notes, but nothing that specific. Kinda stale on the palate. It was an older harvest (10/9/20), so I’d like to try a fresher batch to form a complete opinion. Maybe the judges got something I didn’t. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this, but they’re pretty high quality. What I tried was nothing mind-blowing, but I really enjoyed both. They didn’t cast any aspersions. You know what you’re getting. In a market lacking as much transparency as this one, that quality is pretty valuable.
