Strain Review: Sweet Tarts by Zamokers

Nose: Light notes of tanginess and some notes of sweet Gelato.
Inhale: Balance of sweet and sour. A little harsher than expected. Some pine notes too.
Exhale: Sweet and earthy. Gelato notes came periodically.

Hello everyone and happy Friday! 🥳 we made it to the weekend and have another strain review for Zamokers. Today we will be breaking down their Sweet Tarts strain. Halloween is coming up soon and a lot of us are craving candy so I figured this would be a good one to sample.
Similar to the the Wasabi this also came in a standard Mylar bag. The artwork contains a replicated version of the Sweettarts logo. Personally, was never a fan of these growing up but I do tend to be a fan of a lot of candy-themed weed as they tend to lean more on the sweet and earthy side.
Opening up the bag produced a lighter nose, however, I was still met with some subtle notes of sweet and tangy. However, the bud did look fairly nutrient-laden and even a little bit better than the Wasabi if you ask me. The shades of purple and white surrounded by many orange pistils sure made the appeal to the eye pleasing. I was still curious about the smoke, however.
When I broke it down it seemed a little drier than expected and resulted in a mild yield. I had to use a little more upon rolling up because of this. When I lit this up I certainly felt a mix of sweet and sour that took over but I couldn’t really put my finger on it. Each pull was a little different than the next but I really didn’t get a heavy terp sensation of anything specific. The burn was pretty decent but quicker than expected and the ash that produced was a fairly darker gray color. At certain points I felt some tart taste and others I felt a very light gelato taste but nothing really stood out or result in a good concoction. Some tokes were harsher than others which led to a few coughs through the sesh.
Overall Rating 7.7/10
The high received from this was fairly mellow and I mainly felt it within my head. It didn’t stop me from any daily activities and I, personally, would recommend this for anybody who likes a nice day high that is not too overpowering. If you are looking to get glued to the couch I think you may want to try something a little more overpowering as I typically would yearn to smoke after this one. This may be suitable for some beginner smokers who want to get their hands on some gas.
Overall, I didn’t think this was as good as the Wasabi but it was still great to check out a group of guys who are making their names known throughout 2021. As mentioned, Zamokers is expanding the CT market to some new gas that is out there. I think it’s safe to say that we’ll see these guys around again in the near future 💯.
