District Florist 10th Planet Strain Review

I was gifted an actual planet sized nug which featured and highlighted all of the strain’s best characteristics. Glistening, plump, mint green calyxes make up the base of this strain, with an overlay of iris sugar leaves. Flashes of a sangria purple appear throughout the strain, especially visible when grinding the bud. Long, wiry, fully developed burnt orange pistils erupt from nearly every crevice and wrap tight to the surrounding buds. My photos simply cannot do the this beauty’s fully intact, glaze-like trichomes proper justice. Breaking up 10th Planet’s buds, the senses are hit with an intriguing aroma, mot notably characterized by a musky earthiness, which I would almost describe as a cheesiness, paired with an ever so slight fruity tang on the backend. The smoke was thick, and smooth, and best defined by a ‘chemmy’ diesel + floral palate, enhanced by a flash of sour grape flavor noticeable on the exhale. Not super sweet in my opinion, instead, heavy on a spice fueled gas. A few quick bowls of 10th Planet set the tempo for the entire evening. Physically, 10th Planet is a long-lasting, tingly, and tension melting body high, which while utterly relaxing, never weighs too heavy on the limbs. However, it’s the cerebral effects which check all the boxes. A slight pressure begins to build in the forehead, later settling on the eyebrows. Meanwhile, an unfocused and floaty euphoric trip will have you zoning out for hours, endlessly invested in a variety of distractions. It’s honestly a ‘refreshing’ mildly restorative high and an ideal mid to end of day strain. If you aren’t yet aware of @districtflorist a recent venture by @dccannacrusader focusing on quality flower minus all the frills of commercialization.
