Strain Review: Cinex by Fox Hollow Flora
I’ve been on a nostalgia kick when it comes to the weed I buy lately. Maybe there’s something comforting about reliving what feels like more certain times in a time that feels so chaotic. Cinex used to be the strain that I couldn’t find a bad batch of back in the day. I jumped all over it when I saw @foxhollowflora had a batch at @oregrownindustries.

Original Breeder: CannaMan Farms
Grower: Fox Hollow
Dispensary: Oregrown
This stuff didn’t disappoint. It had the fruity gas aroma I remember from my youth. Not a berry or lemon fruitiness, more like papaya. It had that little bit of mintiness I associate with papaya. The gas notes came through more in the smoke with a little bit of spice. As expected, Fox Hollow did a really good job with this.
The effects are exactly where I wanted them to be. Cinex has always had some energy and function for me, but there’s also been a notable level of giggliness and relaxation, and a level of mental fog that I can’t really ignore. It’s nice. Real nice. Not great for a job interview (if you’re a coward), but the focus and euphoria it provides would probably make some kind of creative work a bit more fun or spice up a video game level grind.
I LOVE the Juice Boxxx from these guys as much as this Cinex, and I’m looking forward to trying more options from them every time I stop by @oregrownindustries to grab some fire. I definitely recommend you do the same, especially considering the price tag these guys sit at. Their buds aren’t 10/10 for looks, but I’m not about to complain about 8/10 looks on 10/10 quality and 7/10 pricing. If those ratings seem kinda random, that’s why I don’t do number systems.
