Seen some of my followers been scooping this one over the past few weeks so I decided to scope it out considering Sonoran has been killin the game lately. I’m not a huge gelato hype man but this batch looked so colorful so I was excited to get into it! Beautiful dark purple buds with the classic firey orange hairs that look like worms poppin out of soil🪱 Frost so heavy seems like you ran it under cold water and then left it on a cabin porch up north during a windy night❄️ Sadly the buds are on the smaller side but to be real this is some of the best gelato i’ve seen. The smell had me stumped for the longest time. It has that gelato aroma but with a funky twist. Kind of reminded me of smelling the inside of a parmesan cheese bottle. A funky sweet kind of cheesy musk is what my nose was stuck on. Break it open and the funky sweetness overpowers the cheesiness but parmesan is still present in the background. Definitely the most odd smelling gelato i’ve come across. Flavor is odd just like the smell. Very funky musk but not very enjoyable, slight sweetness but sadly only present for a second. The aftertaste is surprisingly enjoyable with a sweet musk that lingers for a minute. Not the best tasting gelato but definitely not the worst. Effects start by making the head spacey then makes its way behind the eyes hefty but not heavy. Body is relaxed but wish it could be a little heavier. This batch seemed to hit the head more rather than the body. Although this batch was one of the better looking i’ve picked up, i’d say the effects and flavor just fell a little short. But of course considering this flower was well cured and smoked decent with a 35 price tag? These Sonoran eighths are a steal all day. Been consistently scooping these up for the past 3 weeks or so and i’ve been pleased.
