Elyon Ice Cream Cake Strain Review

ice cream cake by elyon cannabis strain review by trunorcal420This is a repeat offender at my house,l; heavy indica with a decent kick in the face. Had my back and leg feeling wonderful (I have arthritis) so this was a welcomed purchase from the folks @doctorsorder916 the nugs were a bit dry so I hit them with a small orange peel in the jar over night and they got a little rehydrated. Anyone else have tips for rehydration? Thoughts on if it fucks up the characteristics? 🥰❤️💯🙌🏻😤

I highly recommend only using humidity packs from companies like Boveda or Integra to rehydrate dried bud. Flower is meant to be rehydrated using the 62% RH packs. Using something organic like an orange peel or lettuce leaf is only asking for a mold issue. The 4g size is good for 1/8-1/4 the 8g size should handle 1/4-1/2 and the 62g size is good for anything up to a half pound, although I prefer to use two for 1/2 pound. IMHO one is only good for a QP or 4 ounces. That’s how you rehydrate and store your buds in the modern world. A glass jar that’s deep purple (looks black) is UV proof and will protect your bud from light damage, and the flower within should be stored with a humidity pack to prevent drying out. While it’ll protect your flower from light damage, if also kept in a cool place (60° to 65°) your flower will have a shelf life of 1-2 years for most strains, & as many as 3-4 years for long shelf life strains like Blueberry (4 years), Sour Diesel(2-3 years), Chemdawg (2-3 years), or Chocolope (2-3 years).
