I could not find anything more about this specific pheno of kush cake so if anyone knows please comment👇🏽 To start off this bud has gnarly bag appeal. I mean probably the best looking flower i’ve had all of 2020. King Kong sized nugs with dark greens and purple, but what catches the eye most is the ridiculous amount of trichomes. This some shit you pull out at the sesh and people be second guessing if you added a dash of angel dust or not💀 And you wanna talk density? These nugs so damn solid that the pilgrims could have used them to stone mfs to death. The aroma of this flower is a mix of cake, a slight bite of bubba and a dash of floral/earthiness. The smell is very different and enjoyable but once you break it down it gets even louder. Major nots of bubba and cake collide to make this delicious flavor. It’s like if you whipped up a little bowl cake batter, put a tiny pinch of grape and a dash of caryophyllene in an easy bake oven and boom you got Kush Cake🍁🍰 Definitely lives up to its name as the flavor matches the aroma almost spot on. Unfortunately in my opinion, the effects category is where this flower did not excel. Now hear me out, I did feel effects from this but nowhere near what I was looking for. At first I got a nice cerebral feeling, cleared my head and put me in a positive state of mind. However shortly after I was expecting the effects to start trickling down my body but that was not the case. Instead, I was left with that slumpy feeling behind the eyes and honestly just wanted to lay down. I was hoping to get some body relaxation out of it but it seemed to relax my mind more than anything which is not a bad thing just not what I was expecting. So in my opinion I would use this strain more towards the night time considering it will not hesitate to camp out behind your eyes for an hour or two⛺️ All in all great strain but one thing I will say is i’m kind of disappointed the effects did not match the bag appeal. Yes this stuff got me high but for how this flower looks, it should definitely be putting you next to the mars rover.
