Strain Review: Platinum Garlic Cookies by LOWD

I have another @thelowd review for you today. This one was probably the best of the three I got from @thc.pdx. I’m not always huge into the garlic terps, but the Platinum Garlic Cookies these dudes grow is fucking fire. Platinum Garlic Cookies Strain Review

To start out, the shit tests to like 34%. Normally, numbers that high actually put me off a little bit. It’s rare that something with astronomical THC also has a balanced terpene and cannabinoid profile, so it’ll look good on the shelf but leave you wanting when it comes to experience. That’s not really the case here. Terps on this were fruity, but also heavy on the savory garlic funk. I’ve noticed a somewhat garlicky note in certain Platinum GSC I’ve tried, especially the stuff @tenfourfarms grows. It’s more along the kushy side rather than that mushroomy garlic you get from GMO. That comes through in this. The high is real strong. I have trouble using GMO and garlic strains to get to sleep some times because they can have some more cerebral effects. This has been a fantastic insomnia smoke for me. Next to the Venom OG I had a little while back and the Flatbrainer from @high_noon_cult I’ll be reviewing in the next few days, this is one of the best sleep strains I’ve found. The Lowd grows potentially the best flower in the state. They also grow some stuff that could be a little better for the price. This is definitely the former. I’m real happy with this stuff.
