Good afternoon to all you lovely people out there! I hope you all had a swell weekend, and that those of you foosball fans enjoyed the Super Bowl on Sunday 🏈 Speaking of the big game, today we have a special creation inspired by one of its half-time performers no less – @snoopdogg 🙌🏻 This strain is somewhat shrouded in mystery, however we can say that it’s an Indica-dominant hybrid with a very high THC content of up to 28%!
The moment I opened the beautifully designed and brilliantly nostalgic ‘Doghouse-style’ bag I was hit on the shnoz with a generous burst of those gassy sour diesel notes. These had a characteristic to them that reminded me of a classic OG Kush – however this was soon blended nicely with a subtle undertone of zesty lemons as I took another deep sniff. I quickly came to find the aroma of this strain became increasingly intoxicating and moreish with each return to it 🤤
The flavour was no different either – from the very first dry pull of the J to lighting her up; all I could taste was that thick, pungent gas with hints of sweet and sour lemon. This this was without a doubt the best touch of lemon to a strain I’ve ever tasted I might add, perfect on the palate; not too much, not too little. As for the effects, they came on pretty quickly, within the first few tasty tokes in fact.
I initially felt a slight head rush with a sudden spark of euphoria, accompanied by a tingly wave moving through my body – this came about with an almost sedating quality to it. I imagine that the presence of a reported 1% CBD content may well have had a part to play in the general relaxing effects that I got from it. I didn’t personally get a strong couch-lock effect from this strain, which is nice, as it allowed me to enjoy it about the day as well as the evening.
Overall, I was very impressed with this flower – it had an almost ‘perfect flavour’ to it as far as my palate was concerned. It gave an all-round, well balanced body high with some really great cerebral effects to boot. All of this is topped off by the simple fact that it owes its name and existence to that legendary smoker we all love; @snoopdogg 💚
