Not having had or heard a lot on Dank Syndicate’s flowers, I was excited to get my hands on some and give their ZAnimal a review. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an even balance of gassy and floral fruity aromas. Displaying a strong Cookie lineage, with hints of mint, complemented by subdued but sharp fragrant grapefruit undertones. The buds were of a medium to hard density, having both a foxtail and boulder structure, being a shade of light to medium green, with rustic hydroponic hairs, and absolutely showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell. Delivering a refreshing infusion of Cookie’s and OG gas, with strong mint traits, complemented by a sweet grape and grapefruit concoction. This combination of flavours result in the taste of a floral gas being left on my tastebuds upon exhaling. With a partial harshness noted through combustion. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey, alongside an oozing resinous oil ring, smoking partly smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, I found ZAnimal to be a refreshing blend of aromas, delivering a gently sweetened minty gas, with the overall taste exhibiting its Animal Mints lineage slightly more, overpowering its Zkittles counterpart (in comparison to some other popular flowers sharing the same genetics such as Giraffe Puzzy, Zucchini, etc). With some further dialling in required, primarily on perfecting the smoothness, this flower can be a great staple on Dank Syndicates lineup.
