Hash Review: Starburst Fresh Press Rosin by Ogre Farms

Two fat clear coated slabs of fresh press layer on-top of each other w/ a hard candy surface & glass shard structure. An Aquafina-amber color scheme w/ gray overtones & champagne undertones reveals suspended air bubbles that glisten like stars in the night sky.
The FP is stable outside the freezer, breaking off in rocky chunks, but slowly curing into a softer taffy-like scoop. The nose volume is pretty loud for freshpress. Ogre always has amazing terp delivery & this jar confirms that w/ loud terps of fresh funky earth & fiery cherry herbal spices that blend Into a sour dank diesel fuel profile. A heavy presence of gassy kush carries a classic lemon & pine backing. A chewy sugary lemon lime candy citrus aroma makes for a unique undertone that really wraps the profile together. It reminds me of an earthy, herbal, sour, diesel fuel mixed w/ a lemon lime Mountain Dew-like soda- or possibly a chewy lemon candy. As the rosin slowly but surely cured (taking 5 days to fully turn) the terps more than doubled in clarity while slightly increasing in nose volume.
The vapor was intense w/ gassy, earthy, herbal, cherry spices & hardcore sour dank diesel fuel. A lemon lime carbonated citrus w/ a chewy candy backing steal the show, & add intense pressure to the lungs, eyes & nose. The mouth is coated in the lemon lime sugary citrus & classic earthy herbal kush terps. The exhale reveals an addition of burnt rubber to the fiery cherry herbal spices & lemon OG kush fuel. The vapor & melt are both really clean: smooth & gassy while burning down to a glowing golden residue. The effects are heavy, w/ powerful 4hr potency that leads w/ relaxing sedation on both mind & body.
A halo of headband pressure eases the mind of any stress while bringing on a slight nod. The body is relieved of all pain while a hefty couch lock combines w/ the extremely intoxicating headspace. Late night sessions have dreamy hallucinogenic properties before a powerful TKO hits!

I really loved this jar, for those of you that don’t know- this is ones of @ogrefarms Living Soil Single Source ‘Control Towers’- which is a double stacked collectors jar wrapped together as a single tower that opens from the top and bottom. The jar is intended for Cultivar Pairings but with the convenience of being stored separately in Highrise fashion.
The jar art showcases an apocalyptic heavy metal hash scene, and the pairing Is of their 2 most notorious cultivars: Starburst OG & Zkittlez. The ticket in the wild is known to max out at triple digits per single grandma- but thankfully @sddankexclusive16 helped to make this review happen at a fair rate. The presentation of the jar art & the bedazzling FP was prime, adding an initial wow factor that really excited me during the crack of the seal. The terps were righteous & loud, aligning with my preferences nicely.
The vapor was impressive, tasty, sweet, smooth, & gassy- while burning & performing well. The hardcore sedation & chronic effects really set the icing on the cake. This jar is an exclusive collectors item, for its rarity, top notch quality, & artistic value. The flame to ticket ratio hit each other head on- making this a special treat for the lungs but not necessarily a frequent selection. Hats off to ogre for crushing this starburst FreshPress. 👏
