Tierra Grow 9lb Hammer Review

Saw this on the shelves a few weeks back and without hesitation knew I had to try it. It’s tough finding quality old school strains with all these gelato, runtz, and fritters taking over the shelves. Saddens me to see the same shit on the shelves 99% of the time but I guess that’s what the people want. Anyways this 80/20 Indica dom hybrid is known for having relatively potent euphoric and cerebral effects. I’m always interested to see how indica dom strains pair with sativa effects so I was excited to see how this hammer hit💷🔨 Long loose airy buds with a not so great haircut. Buds were on the dry side with extra stems still attached. I wish I could say the frost and pistols somewhere saved the bag appeal but then i’d be lying out my ass. Gives off major sativa vibes and looks very similar to the OGiesel smalls but not as dark. The trichs are there but I’m just not a fan of the salmon hairs and mediocre trim. The buds smelled of mild citrus peels and a light mixture of vanilla cream candle🍊🍋🕯 Do a little break n sniff test and the aroma turned into a christmas peanut butter cookie. Once fully grinded the terps sadly turn into just mild sweet citrus with almost a hoppy IPA aroma🍺 Since this batch was fairly dry, that translated into the taste. Slight harsh earthiness on the inhale with a piney peppery exhale. I will say however this was definitely the least worst tasting dry weed i’ve smoked😂 Shortly after exhaling, I already felt that heavy hit of uplifting euphoria flowing through the brain🧠 My head felt very spacey yet incredibly focused like I was ready for a final exam. Hits the eyes just enough to give you that stoney feeling. Sadly the effects lacked heavily in the indica department with very minimal pain relief. In my opinion this batch was decent but not great. I did pick this up knowing it would hit similar to a sativa but did not think the sativa would override considering it’s an 80/20? Very confused how an 80 indica can feel like an 80 sativa.
