With high expectations from thoroughly enjoying Zaba CC’s Blue Ube, I was now looking forward to trying their Cranberry Sauce. Retailed with captivating branding, referencing the sweet condiment. Upon opening I was instantly hit by the smell of a dominant creamy Gelato gas, exhibiting spicy and fizzy citrus overtones with added traits of mint, vanilla, and musky pine. This unique gas was complemented by a sweet sour candy displaying notes of cherries and berries. With a blend of both profiles producing a vague scent of a sourly sweet cranberry gas. The buds were of a predominantly hard density, being a shade of medium green underneath a layer of purple, alongside reddish rustic pistils, and showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by a tart and resinous gas, with creamy vanilla, mint, and nutty traits, exhibiting a Gelato and Cookies lineage. A complementary array of forest fruits consisting of cranberries, cherries and grapes, accompanied this gas favourably with spicy notes developing through combustion. This gassy dominant sweetness is retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling, with a partial coarseness noted. The joint produced ash being a shade of almost white to light silver, displaying an instantaneous oozing resinous oil ring, smoking partially smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, I found Cranberry Sauce to overall be a pleasant unique blend of a spicy, minty and creamy Gelato and Cookies gas infused with sweet berries, and although could have had a smoother finish, ticked most boxes. With a little further dialling in required, CS will be a great staple to the Zaba CC line up.
